As the Director of Workforce Policy and Data in the Success Center, Jill’s work focuses on advancing policies that support the economic and career mobility of California Community College students. She brings over a decade of experience researching workforce development and community college programs. While in the Workforce and Economic Development Division of the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, Jill managed the Strong Workforce Program and used her data and research background to help create user-friendly data tools for college practitioners. As a senior associate at Social Policy Research Associates, she evaluated workforce development and education programs and provided technical assistance to states building data systems. Most recently, Jill served as the Director of Research for the California Interagency Council on Homelessness, where she supported the creation of California’s first homelessness longitudinal data system and statewide performance metrics. Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley and Master of Arts degree from UC Irvine, both in Sociology.
