Gina Jamerson

Gina Jamerson is the Director of the Guided Pathways Implementation Team made up of 18 Guided Pathways Regional Coordinators and two program specialists. She leads the GP Regional Coordinators who provide tailored coaching to California’s 116 community colleges to meet local student and college needs in a timely manner, keeping equity and racial justice at it’s center, supporting the colleges in their implementation of the Guided Pathways framework.  Prior to joining the Foundation for CA Community Colleges, Gina worked for close to two decades at Sonoma State University in enrollment management. As Director of Student Outreach & Recruitment Gina built partnerships with the K-12 sector, college access organizations and community colleges focused on providing access and opportunity to first generation college students. As a long time administrator, Gina has in-depth experience in student services, relationship building, and facilitation. She has also led statewide professional development trainings for both K-12 and higher education faculty and staff. During her free time, Gina serves as trustee to the Elk Grove Unified School District’s School Board or can be found on the sidelines with her husband cheering for their sons on the soccer field.
