Cindy Sanchez

Regional Coordinator, North/Far North Region

Cindy is a Guided Pathways Regional Coordinator supporting California Community Colleges in the Northern Region and has dedicated her career to working collaboratively with communities to leverage resources, promote academic success, and continue creating pathways to higher education. She is from the small town of Westwood, California. Cindy Graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. She then pursued graduate school at University of Denver, where she graduated with her Master of Arts in Higher Education, emphasis in Leadership and Organizational Change. Her research agenda investigated the social/political context of educational opportunities for undocumented students. Cindy previously served as the Program Coordinator for Recruitment, Outreach & Orientation at Butte College, she worked closely with various departments on campus to improve and strengthen programs that create an accessible onboarding process for students. In addition, she worked collaboratively with local high schools to better support prospective students throughout the college matriculation process. On a more personal note, Cindy loves spending her time with family, traveling, outdoor activities, and home organization.
