As the Business Operations Specialist, Christine Tsai-Taing oversees the day-to-day operations of the Success Center by streamlining internal workflows, managing business systems, tracking KPIs for reporting, and supervising student assistants. Prior to joining the Foundation for California Community Colleges, she was the Program Coordinator of the University Writing Center at California State University, Long Beach. She also taught English as a Second Language in the International Education Program at the University of California, Riverside, before working in their Writing Support Program as Assistant Coordinator. With over 13 years of experience in higher education, she has experience and expertise in curriculum development, learning management systems, advising and mentoring students, budget management, as well as data reporting.
She earned a BA in English, a BA in Dance, and a MA in Teaching from UC Irvine as well as a TESOL certificate from UCLA Extension. She also still holds a CA Single Subject Credential in English. She continues to be passionate about student success and helping students reach their education and career goals.
