Stacy Teeters

Regional Coordinator,  San Diego/Imperial Valley

Passionate, excited, and ready to “geek out” with you about Guided Pathways! Stacy Teeters joins the Guided Pathways Regional Coordinator team with over 12 years working in various sectors of California’s public education systems, but has found her true calling in working for California’s community colleges. A strong advocate for students and social justice, Stacy is thrilled at the prospect of redesigning higher educational institutions to substantively address barriers to student success and systemic inequalities for underserved students and communities. Prior to her Guided Pathways Regional Coordinator role, Stacy helped support and lead Guided Pathways and transformation efforts within Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District as a research and planning professional. In addition to her work, Stacy is also currently researching Guided Pathways and equity as a doctoral student in the Community College Leadership EdD. Program at San Diego State University. In her spare time, Stacy can be often be found tweeting about #GuidedPathways and #edequity (@stacyateeters), clicker training her dog Scout, dabbling with pastels or watercolors, or playing nerdy board games with friends.
